Alison Dolan has been teaching freshman and AP Biology at HWRHS since 2014. She has a B.S. and M.S. in Biology and a background in biotechnology. In the past, she worked as a research associate in antibody development at Cell Signaling Technology, Inc. During her time at Cell Signaling Technology, Inc she developed molecular tools used by researchers to make new discoveries that led to a better understanding of diagnosis and treatment of disease. At HWRHS, Alison Dolan is particularly interested in bringing advanced biotechnology opportunities to students and she has been working on designing the new biotechnology course being offered to students for the first time in 2020. When she is not at the high school, she can be found reading a good book, hiking trails around the North Shore, or spending time with friends and family.
